I had privilege to attend the conference on, “Creating Healthy Working Environments,” hosted by Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing, in New Orleans, Louisiana, from 22nd to 25th February, 2019. Read moreThe School of Dentistry began its undergraduate programme (BDS) in the 2006/2007 academic year and has graduated 7 cohorts of students (total 46 Graduates) thus far.
Early in the programme, the first two years in particular, some minor curriculum changes were done, but there were no major changes made to the curriculum at that time.

On April 25, 2018 the first batch Pharmacy of interns completed their Internships and was given their licences to practice with a formal White Coat ceremony. In attendance was the Minister of Public Health, Hon. Volda Lawrence, the Pharmacy Council of Guyana Preceptors, and other University of Guyana and Ministry of Public Health representatives.
